  • Sad day today, very cloudy with the odd shower produced only 1.76 O's
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    2.6 & 1.0 O's.

@Spies: I have 2 sperate arrays, East and South. It was always known that the east generation would be low, but calculations and checks prior to install showed that installing 4 panels on the east facing (the most that we could fit) would still be beneficial overall. As we approach the winter months then the sun does not get high enough to peek over the neighbouring houses until later.

PVGIS estimates that my total projected generation for September (east + south) would be 347.97 kWh broken down as east 94.49kWh and south 253.48kWh.

Currently the total PVGIS projection is 85.74%, if this is broken down then east projection is 58% and south projection is 95%, its the east figures that drag down my generation,  how to calculate this? show 2 PVGIS figures same as 2 generation figures, or combine into 1? welcome your thoughts or comments.

A near neighbour, who has exactly the same equipment installed, but has 12 panels to my 11, his are all south facing but installed on a flat roofs with the panels mounted on 'tubs'; the inverter reporting and that produced by the Tigo monitoring confirms that our install generates more than he does, despite the impacts of our east install. All to do with the angle of mounting.

    2 Separate arrays, 7 x JASolar 380w panels (2.66kWp) south facing, 4 x JASolar 380w panels (1.52kWp) east facing, 11 x Tigo optimizers & cloud, Growatt SPH5000, Growatt 6.5kWh Hybrid battery (Go-live 01/12/21) - Additional reporting via Solar Assistant.

1.99 O's for yesterday. Poor generation, low export rates and a high consumption day meant value of export was the lowest for several months.
