11.3kWhr, 2.6 O's. The rain started about 2pm and then I managed around 0.4kW generation until 6:45. Hopefully managed to export some of that.
I think the aim is to use rather than export: when you export you only get 0.3p per kWh then when you import it back from your supplier it costs you around 0.28p per kWh
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Pretty mediocre 13.8 kWh, 2.88 O's today, but at least it was enough to cover our use and charge the batts.

Isn't the aim to cover as much of your "normal" use as possible, rather than just using your PV generation for the sake of it? I mean on a sunny summer day I could use 10 - 20 kWh running a fan heater in the back garden, but I'd be a fool if I believed I was saving £2.80 - £5.60 doing that ;)

I defer running high consumption loads until its a sunny day if possible. Doesn't always work out that way though when we have no plates left  :D

Normally I would agree with you. But this week I am in the honeymoon period of having just switched to Octopus outgoing Agile. And it is proving to be some honeymoon! I exported about 0.4kWhrs between 4pm and 6pm and the price ranged from 54p/kWhr to 66p/kWhr. And so far this week it has increased every day. For the same period today it was 55.95p to 74p. Tomorrow it will be 51.5p to 81.5p!

I am actually wondering if this will distort the price cap rise due to be announced on Friday and that it will drop again next week.

I wish my supplier charged 0.28p per kWh. At those rates I assume you have a hot tub in your garbage can?   ;-)
