Another partly-cloudy day to end July.9.28kWh, 3.41 O'sTotals for July: 341kWh generated (125.3 O's, 110% of PVGIS), 50kWh imported, 100kWh exported. Plus 13m3 of gas (vs. about 16m3 for July 2021).July 2022 was my highest recorded monthly generation, although that's not a particularly bold claim as my records from 2013-2020 are dire.N. Total generation for the month was 493.7 kWh 124.2 O's 106.5 % of Estimate
(3rd worst) High 579.5 kWh Low 435.8 kWh
Despite it being a poor month its still my best year so far. 2970.4 kWh
Imported 92 kWh Exported No idea!
Diverted 158.3 kWh
Gave my meter readings to Octopus yesterday and somehow added 1 Mega watt to my usage! They accepted it and produced a bill. Dame near gave me a heart attack!
Amazed they accepted it as my annual usage is 1.7 Mega watts and I had only submitted a previous reading 7 days before!3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds4 -
2.3 O's for yesterday bringing the calendar month to a close. July averaged 4.3 O's with 7 maidens. Despite the sunny weather July yielded only 1 kWh more than June - 7% above PVGIS.
I have another 3 days to go before my reading is due - I'm in the fortunate/unfortunate position that the FIT cheque payment will be marginally over the limit for depositing by phone - and our local bank branch has closed. Stats for July,

July results.
No heating but quite a few hours of A/C, all PV.
Great month with 109% of target. Big spread, with 105% for the ESE and 117% for the WNW.
Generated 679kWh (121.7 O's).
Imported 208kWh.
Exported 324kWh.
Consumed 563kWh.
Gas was ~99kWh.
Getting better but import and export still high. Lots of BEV driving by Wifey mostly on PV but fluctuating clouds meant an annoying amount of import. If we had a battery, import would have been zero, hmmm?
Looks like annual leccy consumption will be around 6,300kWh, up from ~3,000kWh prior to BEV's and small heatpumps.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.7 -
For July I only generated 349kWh because my inverter died at was was the hottest week of the year so I lost a good 6 full days of generation.
Of that I used 111.79kWh which equates to 32%, total export gain was £57.70 which averaged 24p/kWh.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.5 -
