Wondering how you calculate with PVGIS if you're capped at 3.68?

I've got a 5.25kWp system (14 x Longi 375) facing SW (55 degrees?) , no shading, with Lux 3.6 inverter. I decided to get what I could on the roof from the start. The installer predicted output was 4210kWh.

If I stick the figures in PVGIS it gives a higher than predicted figure so I'm guessing it was adjusted by the installer for the cap. Is there a way for me to do this?

And is everyone using the same settings for PVGIS?

PVGIS isn't a great tool for cappped systems. your installer is likely to have had a paid-for tool that allows more parameters to be input.

I can't speak for anyone else but I mostly stick with the defaults. The only parameters I input are site location, array size, and angles.

I stick with the standard settings too, my array isn't too oversized for my inverter and the battery pulls over 3.68 when available so the figures should be reasonable, it's just a guide though so I won't be fuming if I don't reach the targets.

There's now better data than what you gain yourself over time.

I presume 3.68 is the export limit not the generation limit which can be used to charge batteries and export at the same time?

Yes correct, I hit a new high today in instantaneous power of 4.33kW from my 4.07kW system. Only happens when I've got space in my battery though then it drops to 3.68kW.

Mines a Hybrid DC coupled battery, not sure if the A.C. coupled batteries do this.

Default settings plus 4.8 kWp, azimuth of 35 and slope of 23 degrees gives me an estimated generation of 606 kWh in June, 621 in July and 4587 kWh per year, so it will be interesting to see how actual generation compares.

Not really, but try this PVOutput map to find a similar system to yours:
