First month with no battery charging from grid, so import was just to cover the very rare usage over 5.5kW and inverter reaction to changing load/generation.

When exactly was the Oscar 'invented'?  So I ploughed through the thread and discovered that Oscargrouch proposed the measure and Martyn proposed the name 'Oscar' on the 5th March 2013.  So I am now going to propose (if it hasn't been done before) that 5th March becomes a national holiday for all PVers in honour of Oscargrouch, the inventor of the unit of measure, the Oscar.

A train wreck yesterday! Rain and rather a large amount between 11 and 2. At least the panels look very clean!

In terms of how good may was 108.8 % of PVGIS

Ranks 6 out of 8 for Full months of May.

Total for first 5 months of the year. 484.7 O's and only 5 behind the best. Worst start. 2018 with 404.3 O's

2.62 O's for last day of May with the month return being but 90% of pvgis and the least since installation in 2018. Thankfully being May it was more than sufficient to cover our domestic needs.

DHW 124 kWh's, ashp's 44 kWh's

EV's Grid 21.05, Solar 191 kWh's

Wind returned but 0.41 O for the day and totalled just 50% of annual monthly average. Perhaps not a great surprise as the summer months tend to have lower wind speeds. Equally the months return of £25.02 is likely to surpass the leccy bill for the month.

June's off to a reasonable start; it was cloudy at times but cleared up this evening. Currently the dying sun is shining on the *north* side of my house, which only happens for a few weeks either side of Midsummer!

Today is also the first day my 5.2kWh homebrew battery has been in commission. So far, so good ...
