It has been the best day today since I took an interest and started monitoring my system. 8.7kWh for 4.34Os.
Previously my best was the 8th Mar with almost no cloud.
Today I replaced my Sunnyboy with a Glowatt and this has yielded some interesting results. Despite the day having intermittent clouds and despite the system only running from 09:37 the yield has been better - the inverter is more efficient and I believe is not constraining in peak conditions - I saw my highest peak ever - 2.0kW (measured on Geo monitor) vs previous peak of 1.7kW. I was quite surprised to see that value (albeit briefly) from 11 year old panels.
This draws a line under my optimisations - which have included adding Tigo optimisers, removing panels from roof and cleaning and then replacing in a more optimal layout, and now adding the more modern inverter. Looking forward to the weekend - I think I'll be good for a 5-O. The optimisations were triggered by a neighbour removing a shading Silverbirch.
