    0.16, grey rainy day.

My Shinelnk has started playing up needing a reboot to push data to Growatt severs, which is pretty irritating.

I'm feeling somewhat jealous of Merlin139. I think they have a better panel orientation clearer horizons than I do.

My panels face 200 degrees. Just been and checked this with 2 different Compass. There was me thinking it was 2 degrees off South and its nearly 20. This now makes sense with the original quote I was given.

At this time I have a large field behind me with a few young trees around 5 meters high about 10 meters from the house. Planning permission has been applied to build in excess of 500 houses that will fill said field.

Only real shading comes from the house next door that casts a shadow that moves across all of my panels before the sun sets. On Mid Summers day this starts from around 16:15. Thankfully I understood enough to get a SolarEdge system.

My MSC Installation Certificate gives my EAG as 3309.39 kWh

My average over 8 years is 4083.41 kWh

Well today ranked 8th worst of 28 days so far.

So you're averaging 1,027kWh/kWp from an off ........... OFF ......... south system!

When I get my panels, in West Wales, they will be a similar orientation to Merlin's. It will be interesting to see the differing performance from opposite sides of the country.
