Hi all,I just noticed that I seem to have a panel down.I have the Solaredge system with individual modules so it has not brought the whole system down which is why I never spotted it.Seems on the 8th August 2021 my panel 3 stopped producing correctly. The voltage has gone high and the current low, which indicates to me that the panel may be fine but the module could be faulty. Can anyone advise please.System is about 7 years old so all parts should be under warranty but who should I go to, the installer or Solaredge.Would the labour and cost of scaffold be included under warranty.Anyone have experience please.(I have reset the system and not change)ThanksMartin

I very much doubt the cost of scaffold would be covered under the warranty.

I had one of my optimisers fail after about 5 years. My installer no longer existed. I contacted Solar Edge who did some on-line checking of my system and they sent me a replacement optimiser FOC. But I had to replace it. Fortunately it was on a single storey building so a ladder was all that I required. Still a bit hairy as you have to remove the panel to get at the optimiser - and they're not light when you're balancing up a ladder.I opened up the dead optimiser and found water had got in.Solar PV System 1: 2.96kWp South+8 degrees. It looks like my installer has gone although still listed as active at 'company's house'.But all emails bounced and website no longer there. They do have a presence under a slightly different name though, so maybe I will get a response from them.Martin (With an I)

And an oh so close 2.9 O's here.
