    3.55 O's today so under par once more and now a good Maiden behind pvgis with daylight hours on the wane. Obviously this supposed prolonged period of High pressure just hasn't been listening to the weather forecasters! :)

    Thank you Eric, it's a figure of speech rather than a statement of fact.
    I realised of course that 'think' was a figure of speech - hence the apostrophes.Β  However,Β  there are those amongst us who seem to think that PVGIS can be used as a short term prediction tool and it's really not so.Β  There's a good chance that it might give a reasonable guess for a longer period but even that is questionable if you believe that global warming has had a drastic effect over the last 30 years.
