Nudging ahead of pvgis by a couple of %, 1.48 O's today. Mind you, tomorrows not looking good at all so probably be trailing again by close of play!

It's been a while, but now that it's the 21st December I thought I'd report in:
17th December was a reference sunny day: 0.63 O's.
Yesterday (20th December) was bright, but some cloud about: 0.57 O's
So I reckon the reference amount for my site on the shortest day would probably turn out to be 0.61 O's.
Worst Day was 10th December. Very dull and wet: 0.03 O's.
Best Day was 2nd December: 0.69 O's.
Overall for first three weeks of December: 5.6 O's.
Overall it's been quite a disappointing month so far in terms of weather. Maximum sun angle at my latitude is just under 9 degrees at noon on the 21st December. It would be about 15 degrees in the south of england, so partial shading is very much amplified here.
Here's looking forward to six months of lengthening daylight! I'll be looking forward to evaluating performance during this time!
