Sunniest April in UK since 1929, Met Office says

Last month was the sunniest April in the UK on record, according to the Met Office.

There was an average of 212 hours of sunshine last month, provisional figures showed.

It was the sunniest April in records dating back to 1929, beating the previous record in 1942 by seven hours.

That article is five years old!
    Try this: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/press-office/news/weather-and-climate/2020/april-2020-provisionally-sunniest-on-record-for-uk

Could everyone post all the past monthly totals they have for march and April, would be interesting to see.

It may be better in a new thread?
