What have you been up to?
First 4 days of December have been an excellent 0.67, 0.80, 0.82 and 0.82 Os which is exactly 30% of what my near neighbours SSE roof has produced. My WSW roof has produced more than three times (about 1.1 Os) what my ENE roof has managed (0.36 Os). I suppose this is mainly due to orientation but possibly due to effectively having an oversized inverter on the ENE roof. Maybe some more panels on the ENE roof would improve efficiency - any thoughts?
Edit: for info - 3.6kw inverters on both roofs but max output I see on the ENE roof in high summer is 2.3 kwNorthern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)0 -

I've also ditched Hive & fitted Honeywell's Evohome to make the house into 12 zones + DHW. Each rad/plinth heater can now demand heat based on the room temperature. I just need to get a condensing, modulating, Open Therm boiler fitted now. It'll be interesting to so how much of a dent this makes in the 28000 kWh annual gas consumption.
Anyway, back on topic ... 2.05 O's today.:)4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh0 -

1.62 O yesterday, was overcast until noon. I'd really like one clear day just to see what the system is capable of at this time of year.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
