Home now. I have averaged 25.9 kwh or 3.32 Os for the first 9 days of the month with a high of approx 32 kWh and a low of about 20 kwh based on inverter readings which can be up to a kwh out. Not worked out last months figures yet.

Surprisingly, (as I check PV at least hourly when at home) I have hardly bothered looking at the inverter app on my phone while away. Can I keep that up? As we had no tv reception where we were staying I spent an inordinate amount of time on the MSE forum. In fact I ran out of mobile data allowance and had to resort to using the hotspot on my wife’s phone.

If the solar panels had been wind generators instead I'd be reporting a Maiden at least! I'm sure As it is a moderate 3.22 O's has been returned.

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Projecting 104% for the month currently, and just passed the 8th birthday of the ESE system.

Would be getting close to payback too had I not 'done' a Solaredge upgrade. Quite remarkable given I originally estimated 12+yrs for breakeven based on the highly pessimistic SAP generation figures, shading losses, panel degradation, and inverter life expectancies that were all 'known' or assumed at the time.

Even the WNW is looking more like 15yrs, v's the 22yrs I originally estimated.

[Note - Calcs exclude financing/opportunity costs, but also leccy savings in the hope they roughly balance out. M.]
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.
