    5.9 O's and now only 1kWh behind 2018 target. 11kWh's short of a 700 projection for June.

Still tempting fate here, but weather forecast for next 8 days is 7 with full suns, and a cheeky sun peaking out from behind a cloud on day 8 (July 3rd).
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    Hey All,

Just thought I'd come here for some sympathy as it's lacking from family and friends... They just don't seem to understand...

We're having a total loft conversion, so this week the scaffolding went up complete with tin hat.

    can you tell?

Don't worry the generation is rubbish at the moment, you're not missing anything.

Great day near perfect curve. Too hot so kept peak production lower.

Similar here, but I daren't even think how many kwh have gone back to the grid.:o

On the positive side we have now equalled the PVGIS estimate for the entire month of June! so 120% when compared to 25 days worth.
With all that excess do I take the plunge on an attractive offer of a New Leaf or hang on for that illusive ex demonstrator/nearly new one at a bargain price?

I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not so sure!

I would have thought the extra battery size of the iPace would make it an idea accompaniment to solar PV able to soak up all that excess generation - you know the (man) maths makes sense....

(We are honestly struggling to get enough into our leaf at the moment, it is very annoying when the car is out at peak gen time or it is already full, a bit can go into the hot water - remind me to turn down the gas thermostat - but we are definitely sending some back to the grid atm :( )
    I think....
