Looks like April is heading the same way as March. On a quick estimate it is virtually impossible to reach the expected April generation and it's only the 16th day of the month.
Average expected per day in April is 16.9kWh. I am languishing at just over 10! I appreciate that a straight "expected month's kWh divided by days in month" is not wholly realistic in this context but to reach April's "goal" my system will need to average 24.5 kWh every day for the next 14 days, i.e. 6.5kWh above expected daily average - and that doesn't seem that likely bearing in mind that apart from 2015 when it might just about have happened, most other years had only a handful of days at or above 24.5 kWh spread over the entire month!
Oh well, at least February was the best February to date for my system...:rotfl:0 -
Not good for me either. I'm at 31% of my PVGIS target for the month. So have to make 69% in 14 days.
I'm hoping that the next week's weather is as predicted.

Goodish day here, up and down.
3.96 O's
Solar-I-Boost decided to stop working today! Never had instructions so after looking on the Net discovered the sender unit batteries needed replacing! Not bad after 47 months!
Also found out since I've had it that it has diverted around 4.5 MWh's of my production to heating water.:D3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -
Just about OK yesterday with a par 3.24 O's.
Well behind target now (14.5 O's / 81kWh's short) , predicting 84% for month end. But after today's poor weather there is a very nice 6 days ...... according to the forecast (?) so that could put a few O's back in the bank.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
