    Hi all,

Hope I'm welcome to this group :) I just had solar installed so look forward to contributing!

Today(assuming I won't generate anything worthwhile now that sun has basically set) = 0.94O's.

I realise this is a 'made up' value - but what would 1 "O" mean? In English? Or is it just a relative scale we can all cross compare?
    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.

Hiya. The O stands for 'Oscars' as it was he of the grouch family that wanted a comparison figure. The real name is simply kWhs/kWp, but that takes a lot of typing .... hence the O's.

It gets sillier as O's lend themselves to nicknames, such as a 'Hawaii' for 5O's, or a bond for double O's. ;)
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
