    Hello everybody!

Guess what new trick Mart discovered last week?

Hands up everyone whose IP address is currently banned by "the administrator"?

    No. Just me then.

Apparently MSE's software contains, what MSE describe as a 'quirk' that can sometimes mistake the formatting from word or outlook as dodgy code and a hacking attempt.

So, whilst putting together some info on batteries that my forum friend had e-mailed to me, when I clicked 'preview' computer said "NO".

MSE are trying to help, and have told me that they've unbanned my IP address, but sadly that does not seem to have worked .... yet. So I've had to visit via a different route,

To be safe, MSE suggest cut and pasting any text from Word or Outlook onto notepad first to remove any formatting. I have cut and pasted from Outlook before, but this time it was a table, so that may have been the problem.

Funny ole world, but enjoy the peace and quiet, I shall return, fingers crossed.

    Sad Mart.

Most people can get a new IP address simply by switching off their BB router, waiting a couple of minutes then switching it back on again.

Only a select few will have a permanently assigned IPA (for which they'll have paid extra) and even they should be able to contact their internet service provider and ask that it be changed.

At one point my isp insisted on giving me the same ip address even though I wasn't paying for it - a real pain for matched betting (and don't even get me started on flash cookies)
    I think....
