Should count my chickens then with 4.7 Os and 19 for the month so far out of an expected 109 in July. That's 17% in 4 days - long may it continue (for a change)0

I don't pay too much attention to my generation, although my system is obviously a lot less efficient than some here, but can I ask you how many are in your household?
Today, for example, I put 3.43kwh into my tank and it ended up "HOT" on my iBoost and subsequently I was exporting. My thermostat is set pretty high and I won't use the gas again now until September.
On a wider point, I've had to visit Screwfix a lot recently, so picked up an extra immersion jacket on one of my visits. In spite of the existing built-in insulation to the tank the extra jacket does seem to have made a difference, and the airing cupboard is a lot cooler. Hopefully I'll be able to wait a bit longer this year before putting on the boiler for DHW.0 -
Good start to July in the Welsh Valleys; averaging 24.1kWh a day so far.
That's over 24 O's out of the PVGIS estimate of 111 O's for the month; over 21% so far. :j
Today looks good too :rotfl:0 -
Silverwhistle, there are two of us in the house and put about 3kWh per day into the DHW via immerSUN. I too have an (old) insulated tank and have fitted an extra blanket.
From memory the daily top-up with no usage (I leave the immerSUN diverting when we are not there to avoid having to re-heat the tank from cold when we return, usually at night) was about 2.2 kWh with no blanket and is now about 1.5kWh with blanket.0 -
