Some advise please - I like the idea of being able to remotely monitor generation and usage.....Wattson seems to be sold out everywhere, is EnergyHive just about as good? The dashboard looks snazzy enough.

    Hi

What about having a look at anything which will allow you to automatically load to PVOutput and use that to remotely monitor as well as for comparison.

If you're a little 'techie' what about a RaspberryPi connected to the Samil inverter via RS485 port (/bluetooth?) and use various scripting solutions which are already available in various forms on the web ... could check this out with no (/little) expenditure by setting up on a VM on your existing hardware then porting across to the RasPi when (/if) you're happy with what you see ....

    3.2 O's. Best day since 25/10/2016.

All day sun gave me the chance to look closely at my generation and noticed some shading between 11.30 and 2.30 from a tree I couldn't be bothered to trim last year. Needless to say I will be out giving it large with my chainsaw tomorrow. As its not in leaf I only probably lost a quarter to half an O but that's enough to ensure the tree gets a sound beating :D
