0.69 O's for the day!
The sun finally turned up when it was too late!
119% of PVGIS for December
114% of PVGIS for 2016 (4061 kWh) 116.8% in 2015 (4160)3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
I haven't posted here for a long time, sorry, far too much stuff going on, but that was by far my best December ever and my best final quarter ever and my second highest annual total after 2014. Happy New Year!2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

99.6% pvgis for December...a lot better than last yearI think....0
-
113.4 % of PVGIS estimate for December.
104.8 % of PVGIS estimate for 2016.
Happy Sunny New Year0 -
Annual PVGIS = 3,380,000
2015 actual 3,416,168 >>> 101.07% of PVGIS
2016 actual 3,352,365 >>> 99.18% of PVGIS
Therefore remarkably close to PVGIS in both years. 2015 about 2% down on 2015.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
Happy hungover new year y'all
Year end scores(SSW only)
Dec 92% PVGIS
2016 104% PVGIS
Not bad really and if my other 2 systems have performed as well I'm a happy bunny2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -
First full calendar year 107.1% pvgisI think....0

December 70.1 % pvgis6.72kw Pv Ja Solar 280w * 24 panels, Solar Edge inverter, South facing no shading.
South Lake District, delightful view of Morecambe Bay. Not Saving up for a battery too expensive:j:mad::hello:
July Solar target 769kw0 -
December didn't end pretty with 85%, but better than last year's 55%. Import was 182kWh.
Closed the year on 4,321kWh generated, and 102%. the ESE came in at 100% (exactly 100%), and the WNW at 105%.
Best percentage month, Mch @117%
Best generation month July 625kWh @ 106%.
Worst (percentage and gen) Dec @ 85%, but sadly June (my money maker month) came in a close second at 86%, and 90kWh short.
The last 4 years have performed above PVGIS - 104%, 108%, 106% 102%. This year has been the poorest, but still ok. The revised upwards PVGIS targets (since I installed) are about 5% higher, suggesting my systems hit around 97%, which I'm extremely pleased with as there is a fair bit of shading on the ESE side, and no SolarEdge to help.
Annual leccy import still going down slowly, at 1,445kWh and 100kWh less than 2014 & 15. Could be luck, but it seems to coincide with the freezer moving to the garage, and the temps in there being lower during non and low PV generating times. In December it seemed to be only consuming 0.4kWh/day.
Summary. Another great PV year, lots of fun, and no loss of interest ..... yet! Does what it says on the side of the tin.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
