Wifey has now seen a split system indoor part, and was surprised how 'ok' it looked, so I have the go-ahead to explore some more.
Weather has turned here, the weather station showed the wind increasing from 1km/h to 8km/h, the outside temp (shaded) quickly fell from nearly 27C to 21C and the ESE PV went up from 2.5kW to 2.8kW, so quite a jump.
I don't know the pre and post panel temps, but assume the difference was greater than the air temp.
House is now 26C, so every available door and window is now open, and the puppy (is 1yr old (on the 25th) still a puppy?) is enjoying dog food lollies (soaked food left in the freezer). She's all black, and was suffering yesterday.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Good news, but don't let her see the LG units ... it'll just cause grief! ...
High here today was supposed to be 22C - but it's over 27C out there at the moment after a high of over 29C just before 2pm ... heat-pump is on in dehumidify mode only and there's a steady drip of water onto the patio outside, so I know that particular function is working .... inside temperature is being pulled down considerably by the dehumidification process, 21.1C at the moment, but the humidity is down to ~50% downstairs (48% on one sensor, 54% on another) .... upstairs is 66% because the windows were open earlier, but outside has dropped from percentages in the mid 80's to mid 50's over the past few hours, so I guess that your cooler/dryer airmass is arriving here too ....
