    Another 3.3 O's today.
The peak power for each system is very individualised and depends on multitude of variables - position of sun and orientation of the panel would be high up... just my two cents

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Hope you have great sun during the year.

I was predicting 4400 last year around the end of Sept and ended the year of 2015 with 4156 Oct - Dec very bad.

    You just never know!

3600 seems a low figure for 4.2 kW?

It is - the installers fitted 265 watt panels thinking they were fitting only fifteen - so the 3608 was based on 3975 total system.

Recalculating the numbers with what is on the roof and the PVGIS is 3846.

    My/Their bad.

I will not name the installers but they were easily the most incompetent shower of xxxx I have ever dealt with. They did not have a clue what they were doing. Atrocious.

However, you can (sort of) post links by dong something like this :-
(3ws), dot , Mywebsite domain name, dotORGdotUK, slash, filename

As long as it doesn't try to form a valid url it will probably be allowed. A mod (i.e. a real live human being) might look at it later and would have the power to zap it but probably wouldn't bother if it looked a reasonable addition to a thread.

Here goes for my pic post then...

Damn, still wouldn't let me do it. I'll keep posting and trying...

Sorry if i seem to be posting lots in order to get my total up.

  • I'm liking the suncalc website, gives me a good idea of timings for absolute optimum sun position. Thanks Oscar.

  • Right, i've added a signature now, and this is one more post towards being able to post a picture hopefully. Back later and sorry for bombarding, it's quite ironic!

  • Just been looking at my generation for January against PVGIS calcs that are as accurate as I can make them. 117kwh generated versus 109kwh estimated. Also for February so far I am on 146kwh out of 161kwh estimated. Does this match up with other's expectation and realities given the weather? I know it's a locality thing generally but what has the concensus been?

    Thanks
