I am getting 5% difference between inverter reading and generation meter reading, is that normal ? Since installation inverter shows 100KWh (yo! i though my first 100KWh) and meter is showing 95KWh.
I am aware the inverter probably uses up some of the generated power but is 5% the norm ? has there been cases where the meter needs replacement etc ?

I've had mine since Nov 12th and generated 112kwh.
I've noticed that early in the morning my iboost shows enough to start exporting before anything shows on my geo 2 pv display.

There's a very long (& exceedingly tedious) 'explanation' of meter testing procedures and acceptable limits of accuracy at :-
    http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1998/1566/made/data.pdf

From that, you may or may not find this of interest.
The permitted margins of error shall be an error not exceeding plus 2.5 per cent. or minus 3.5per cent. at any load at which the meter is designed to operate.
But loosely speaking, your TGM is allowed an error of 2.5% and the meter in the inverter doesn't need to comply with any regulations but has probably been made accurately enough to do so.

If two 'certified' meters are both operating at opposite ends of the accuracy limits, an error of 6% between them would therefore be unremarkable.

But 5% does strike me as rather high : my inverter actually reads 0.1% lower than the TGM although I think the norm amongst contributors to this page would be more like inverter reading 1% higher than TGM.
