Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

I'm beginning to think a wiser investment would have been to leave the money in a 1.5% ISA :rotfl:

No idea what your figures are but that's so not true for me !

£12k initial investment. At 1.5% pa that's £180 interest per year or 49pence per day. Today's been a pretty dreadful day but I still generated 1.2 kWh - worth 60p. My worst recent day was Thursday at 744Wh (38p). But there have been plenty of days with far better generation than that - e.g. last Sunday was 9.05kW worth £4.58 (more than enough to cover lost interest for the whole week since then even if there had been no generation at all !). And that's without even mentioning the Summer months with many days in excess of £10.

Over the year, I'm getting close to ten times the 'lost interest'.

The comment was tongue in cheek based on recent performance. Thought the smilie might give that away :D

  • Just 0.4 Os, not even covering daytime base load. But my percentage usage of generated energy is rising to 96% for the month and 100% for the day according to Wattson. I now have the machinery to calculate accurate figures. Wattson is ok for trending.
