Renewables: "talking 'bout my generation"

This morning was unbelievable. The inverter actually switched off for several hours - that has hardly ever happened before (except for snow cover) and certainly not in August.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

OK a little more about why you can't use CT clamp monitors with a Solis inverter.
It is because the Solis inverter uses reactive power when off to smooth the current within the property. As far as I know this draws no current as such from the grid so doesn't cost anything, but gives a phantom reading of 500w
My inverter also switched off today for about 3 hours.Living in supposedly sunny Kent

A grand 1.129 ho's for the day.
Didn't get the storm we could do with to clear the air4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -
2.8 O's here today.
Most of the day spent with a blanket of cloud. Stayed dry till 19:00
No heavy rain as yet. Think the panels may get a good clean over night. Tomorrow looks rather poor.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
Dull all day here, no rain yet = 2.4 O's for me today:D16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0

1.21 O's here. There is a curiously large separation today between the real reading 4.60 kWh and the Wattson reading of 6.10 kWh.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0

A mere 1.2 O's today from generation meter; Wattson gave 1.268 O's....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -
Well my Sunny Portal must be well hacked off with yesterdays reading as it hasn't sent the normal early morning email with yesterdays results:D Around 5pm it was showing 6.1kwh for the day which is 1.5 O's and my worst day by a long shot, although I suspect today will be even worse looking at the weather forecast for Sheffield. Never mind at least the panels will get a wash:rotfl:
edit: just logged into Sunny Portal from work and it was actually 6.98Kwh yesterday so actually 1.75 O's0 -
Reached 50% for the month on the 12th...which is lucky considering what yesterday and today look likely to produce. Overall it seems summer ended just before the kids school hols started.I think....0
