Yesterday felt like the sort of day where I would have done much better. There must have been cloudy periods. Ended up with 5.29 Os.

You post sounds like you were asleep allday or were you not in the area?

Tick in the box here ... had one to use with the pv for years. The 'normal' (~3kW) kettle is used at night, when generation is high or when we're desperate for a quick cuppa, the rest of the time it's either the travel kettle or (in winter when the logs are burning) a stovetop kettle or cast iron teapot & trivet ...

Same here in the winter. Also use stove with logs in the summer when generation is not good. We flatly refuse to import leccy for a cuppa :D. The 500 watt travel kettle is used permanently in our house now. The 3kw kettle is now in the loft!!!

Wow, 500W kettle? I better not mention that to the wife as she moans our 1kW kettle takes too long to boil as it is. I know full well that if I suggested buying one of those what the answer would be and it'd be something like thissmiley-finger006.gifsmiley-laughing021.gif

The O Graph at pvoutput.org is quite interesting. It covers the readings of 488 UK members. The wavy line is the "O" plotting and refer to the figures (Os) on the left axis.

The UK group as a whole has not achieved 6 O's on any one day during June.

Suggested this to DW and I got smiley-finger005.gif

It did not help that I could not tell her how long they take to boil.
None of the review I could find said how long to boil.

My 1kW doesn't take that much longer than a 3kW, maybe a minute or two. Best part is, is that its very quiet, I just end up re-boiling it again and again cos I don't hear it click off.smiley-confused013.gif

A shade over 2 O's here - not much but...it was our first day, they finished the install at about lunchtime in the rain. We have 2 panels SSE and 14 WSW so were still generating at 1.5kw when the sun came out 5 minutes ago. WE are in St Albans (51.75,-0.30)
    I think....

WE have a solar edge inverter. If I plug in a lan cable to a home plug adaptor will I be able to see all its output?
    I think....
