    Well, there's certainly consistency amongst the Linc's crew.... Just managed to crack an O today.
    4kw PV fitted 4th July 2014 (Green Energy NW £5600). WSW facing, 30 deg Pitch, Unshaded, Samil Solar River inverter, 16 Solar World Mono panels, Iboost on Immersion Heater. located in mid Lincolnshire.

    The sun must've appeared properly at some point in time (if only for the blink of an eye), as my system peaked at 2301W
    Pretty certain it was mostly a blanket of cloud though. Yorkshire not fared much better really than Lincs today.

    8.28kw today .... The scaffold is still up so shading some parts of the panels and various times of the day , does this make much difference ?

    If they are all on one string then yes. If one panel is shaded, the whole system performance degrades.

    I have a bungalow in the way this time of year - it's less of a problem as we go into March and not a problem at all by April.

    LOL, no, I am in a Bungalow too. Had I known 4 years ago what I know now I'd have had 2 strings so the shading on the lower 12 inches of the panels wouldn't have a detrimental effect.
