    Oscar, are the peaks on your graph plots some sort of heater?

    Do you not use a diverter for surplus solar?

    Peaks, if generating less than a 1kWh would be a travel kettle; continued higher level would be an Optiplug switching on a oil based storage heater.
    Don't use a diverter, have not figured out how to turn power into gas; but I am working on it.....smiley-laughing021.gif

    My base load is bigger than your consumption :(

    I've cut back where I can already though. I keep several (well, erm, 6!) tropical fish tanks which scuppers any chance of reducing things further. I also run a web server at home for the weather station. Bit of a lost cause really trying to do much better.
