5.55 O's today taking us 5.4% ahead of pvgis and a good figure to celebrate three years of energy generation. According to Solar Edge it's saved 7.621 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Today looks to have been the best day of the month here. 17.61kWh which is 6.47 O's

So yes, it's proved to be green, ethical and moneysaving.[1] According to HL's inflation calculator, this is equivalent to £10477 at current prices. A system of similar kWp rating today would be around £3.5k installed but wouldn't benefit from FIT payments (or you could fit 4kWp in the same roof footprint as efficiencies have improved).[2] Basd on the decrease in my metered consumption. I don't have an export meter but I also don't have any batteries / solar diverter and only got around to wiring up the immersion heater this year as a stop-gap when the CH pump failed.N.
