Selling a Managed Fund Endowment

Please Help!
I have an existing endowment with L&G, which is a Managed Fund type, started 1999, maturing in 2019, Death sum assured £40'000. Projected maturity @4%, £29'800. @6%, £36200. @8%, £43900.
My question is: Would I be better to sell this, and with it being a Managed Fund, does anyone know of a company that can sell this type of endowment?
Thanks.
Mike.

the upside is that it's more likely to hit target and 8% is a realistic expectation with that plan (which would put you in surplus). You started it at just about the right time with hindsight and would have benefited nicely from the stockmarket crash.
It would almost certainly have a target growth rate of around 6-7% p.a. and the last few years performance has been (year to end Jan 31st)
2007: 7.30%
2006: 18.34%
2005: 8.89%
2004: 19.40%
2003: -17.30%
2002: -11.18%
2001: 2.47%
2000: 8.95%
Those negative years hit a lot of people but those just starting out would have benefited on a unit linked plan.
L&G also have a fairly decent range of unit linked funds so you could also look at the fund options as there are better funds available than this one and a spread could be the better option for you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
