All sold out in newsagents round here. Would like the cake stand for daughter's birthday (she wants cupcakes) but don't want to subscribe. Oh well win some, lose some.

Icing syringes are £1 in the pound shop. With lots of nozzles.

I worked out how much it would cost for the whole series and didnt bother.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Thinking of subscribing for the extra gifts then cancelling when I get bored of it. I read that there are 2-3 4.99 issues per year, and also sometimes folders for 7.99 which you can opt out of.
    £2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit :)) - £588

I bought issue 1 today at WHsmiths. I was thinking of subscribing for issues 2 and 3 to get the cookie syringe.

Has anyone dealt with this company before? How easy is it to actually cancel the subscription once I start?

I used this company ages ago when my son wanted yu gi oh magazines and they are very easy to cancel

  • I subscribed to this magazine last year until they withdraw it at number 6 I loved it and am so glad it is now back in production, Its great for ideas and so easy to follow.

I opted out of the binders which is easy to do and cancelling can either be done by telephone or email - I have never had a problem with this company
  • When you subscribe do they take off the full amount or do you get charged weekly/fortnightly?

I've just received the first delivery and it came with the cake box instead of the cookie syringe.

I'm pretty disappointed that they haven't sent the promised gift, although the small print does say that they can change the order of the gifts. The magazines have some useful information though and the gifts with the magazines are good.

If you chose to start your subscription from issue 1 we will send you your issue 1 as a special delivery straight away. Then your main subscription will start shortly afterwards, with 2 issues in your first and second deliveries. Thereafter you will be sent 4 issues every month.

    4 issues every month?
Issue 1 comes for the special price of £0.99/€1.50, each issue thereafter costs £2.99/

That is like £12 per month.... Daylight robbery.... LOL
