It's amazing how efficient they might become when you remind them that completing the form is an essential stage before writing your cheque. :rotfl:NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
1) How will I know when I should be sending any readings in and will the paperwork they send us contain nformation about this procedure?
2) They state that as our application was made after 11 December we will be eligible for the "New Rate" (which I believe is the lower rate) does anyone know the final outcome of the appeal that extended the original terms until the end of Feb or thereabouts please? We were told we should receive the original higher rate by our providers but this would be dependent upon the outcome of the 'Appeal' made by the Gov!
Sorry, if this is on the wrong thread but as someone had mentioned their readings I hope this is ok, if not please point me in the right direction.
Thank you all for your helpful and this very informative thread.
1) the FiT supplier will inform you of this when you're all registered. Our application went in end of October and the next reading was submitted with the signed contract in Feb.
2) I believe the govt lost the appeal, but may appeal again. You should get the 43.3p rate unless the govt succeed in their appeal.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

Would they generate those forms before payment is made?
I had to settle my invoice before the certificate and proof of ownership was sent through by the installers. Luckily they did a great job as the deadline was looming. We got the install done on 21/2/12 and I now have a contract from Southern Electric confirming the 43p rate for 25 years.4kW PV System installed 21/2/12: Aurora Power One 3.6 Inverter

Our install was on the 25/2/12.Paperwork submitted straight away but I still have heard nothing back yet from Eon.
Should I be worried ?
Anyone confirm that my Fit rate will be 21p till the appeal is finalised and I may then get 43p if lucky ?12 panels south facing,8 panels south-east facing,4KWP system, pitch 40 degrees,Aurora inverter & location is sunny Glasgow.0 -
If your completed FiT application was received (and correct) before the 3rd March then you will paid 43.3p for 25yrs. If the government win their appeal then they could pass legislation to reduce the tariff at some point in the future should they choose to do so.
Have a read of question 3 here on the DECC's website:

Our supplier advised us to e-mail the paperwork to EON. They e-mailed the certificate and invoice to us and we forwarded them together with our electronically completed application form and we had an automated reply from EON confirming receipt - see my previous post containing extract from their e-mailed reply.
It also stated that due to the high demand, application packs would take between 4 - 6 wks to be received, so plenty of time yet.0
