Recommendations for suppliers of mobility aids?

As title really, I'm need to fit out a house for use by elderly peeps who are not steady on their feet and have failing eyesight.

Can anyone recommend suppliers who will provide a catalogue and deliver?

Contact your local council social services whoso provide help in adapting a house for people with limited mobility eg wheelchair ramps, grab handles.

Get professional advice - it will save you buying unnecessary things and not realising that other things are needed.

Do the elderly people already have Occupational Therapists? If not, arrange for an assessment. Depending on their financial circumstances, some things will be provided for free.

Contact your local council as they may be able to get things like an emergency alarm system for free. Also check out any company on the Vent board on mse as there are a number who are the subject of complaints about pressure selling. I wouldn't let a salesmen visit them at home unless you are there with them.
