If nobody posts in a thread, it moves down the page... if it's a permanent thread, regularly updated, then shouldn't it at least be a "sticky"?
Also, when a post is merged into another, it's not possible to get any increase in your "thanks" score... and in any case, when I made my posting, this thread was a desktop thread, not a laptop one.
Just my $0.02

found out this isn't the case, calibrax. It doesn't matter where your posts are (in a merged thread or not) your Thanks count increases...assuming you get thanked, of course
