I can never bring myself to clear the shelves on these things; only take a reasonable amount and leave enough for others to share the joy! (let tonnes of other people with babies know on my way round).

It is just a normal Tesco, not Express or Extra. They had removed all labelling from these nappies so I had to wing it and just tried one set first. The cashier nearly fell off her chair and I didn't think she was going to let me have them at that price. I very quickly then went back and got more and the self checkout guy said the management already knew about it so they didn't really care.

There was sizes 3,4,4+ and 5 available but a friend has reported that this is no longer working in our store sadly.

    WOW .... 2 boxes for £3.96!!!!!

Were these Active Fit? What size pls?

    TIA

You did really well with these, well done.
Word of warning for that store though. Despite the fact that a sa said management already knew and didn't really care. This will not be true.
The management in that store, are very alert to any glitches and misprices, the fact that the sels had been removed would have meant they were already in the throws of applying a manual fix instore.
So if you find any glitches in there again, best to get what you can while you can without alerting any sa's to the price error.
Unfortunately as soon as an sa becomes aware of the price, you can pretty much guarentee a manual correction by the management as soon as they can make it happen.
A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here ;)
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless :o
  • Still working in B@rking branch tonight, all sizes available.

Judging by JJBucks message, it seems to be taking them an awful long time to apply that quick fix then :rotfl:

JJBucks - what time did you go in? A friend went in earlier about 3pm and said it wasn't working anymore but if you went later than this then perhaps she got the wrong ones?

Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!! :)
