Adding New Partner to Mortgage

Need some advice please.
My mortgage provider has advised that following divorce my new partner my be able to be added to my mortgage rather than husband. However the earnings criteria ratio needs to be met and a credit check completed. The only possible problem is that my new partner is an ex bankrupt of 7 years, although has an excellent record since. Has anyone has experience of being rejected in these circumstances.

Hi - it is possible it will be rejected, but depends on the bank and the credit score.
