3 hrs a week self employed

Ive been offered 3 hours a week self employed been a childcare assistant.

I need these 3 hours to make up the 24 the tax credit system is now asking couples to work to keep the working tax credits

Can someone please tell me what i need to do to register self employed if 3 hours is viable etc......

Remember to keep very good records of hours worked and what pay you've received etc and fill out a tax return every year.

They'll send you a notice to complete a tax return. Register on the government gateway website and they'll send you a password, log in when its time to do a tax return and do a self assessment.

Its quite straight forward for a small business if you've kept good records
