mortgage in cyprus through swiss bank

Can anyone give me advice on mortgages in cyprus, I recently bought an apartment and was advised in the bank to open a cypriot account and a sterling account although we were advised to take out a swiss mortgage. I have now found out we will be charged in britain by our bank to make monthly payments to our cyprus sterling account. I asked the bank if we could transfer cypriot currency into the cyprus account as we can get that transferred by money exchange companies but they explained to me if that happened they would have to charge for transferring it to the sterling account and also a charge into the swiss mortgage? Can anyone help unsure what the best thing is to do.
