How many hours do you need to work and then you can claim benefit
As have some one living with father single works 11am to 3 pm Monday to friday
is he able to claim for any benefits

In the circumstances you describe, there are no benefits that this person could apply for - fortunately.0 -
Please note the above ahours he is not allowed lunch break ?
And as the salary is just above the Min wage how is he sto live in the expense climate at present
As thought he would be able to get beneift

Legally, you are only entitled to a break (I think it is 20 minutes) if you are working more than six hours. Why would someone need a lunch break if they are only working four hours a day?
If he is a single father, presumably he gets child benefit and child tax credit, plus child maintenance from the mother?0 -
The op didnt say that he was a father, he said he lived with his father.
No op he's not entitled to any benefits but he is entitled to find more work to boost his income.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -

He gets another job with more hours to replace current job or a second job to top up current salary.0 -
