    Last night, Newsnight was going on about the UK going bankrupt by 2050 because of the ageing population

    But by 2050, climate change will have stuffed us all (probably)

    Capitalism has run its course, just as Feudalism did. Communism was a nice idea, but it doesn't work

    There's always been boom and bust. The issue is a generation has never experienced bust. Us old stagers just do what we've always done. Business as usual through good and bad times. Just make sure there's enough put aside for the rainy days.
