HSBC Mortgages

Does anyone know about the application process for mortgages with HSBC? Are they one of the more difficult ones to get?

They have a 2 year fee free fix at 90% LTV at the moment which we are going to see them about tomorrow.

We have a combined income of £87k plus £8k bonuses/overtime. Would they take those into account?

One person has £1400 on a loan that finishes in October, £180 a month. No other debts. We are looking to borrow between £180 - £210,000. We have £22,000 savings. Haven't found a property as yet but looking!

We have about £1200 - £1500 each spare cash after all rent and commitments are taken care of each month so affordability should be ok. Credit ratings are fine.

One person is a FTB, the other has owned one before but sold in 2007.

We are also going to see a broker, but I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback on HSBC mortgages and their application process in general.

Thanks.
