I have a bag load of EURO 1cent and 2cent coins and I have no idea what to do with them. I don't plan on going any time soon. Anybody have any suggestions what to do with them....

Banks and post offices only handle foreign notes, not loose change so the best thing to do with them is give them to charity. Pop them into a collection box! If you were near Brighton, you could pop them in our collection box. They would be very welcome.

They fit in supermarket trolleys instead of using £1 coins - which I never seem to have when I need 'em......
Sorry, just re-read your post and it was the cent coins you were enquiring after - my mistake !0 -
If you know of anyone going abroad that could use them, give them to them as a gift. Or, if you have for example more than 10 euros, you could give them to someone going abroad and tell them to keep half, and bring you backa bottle of wine with the rest.0

Yeah right, do you have any idea how much 10€ in 1 and 2 cent coins weighs? Would you like to take a bag of shrapnel on holiday?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
