Hi all
This is my first post so be nice!!
I bought a domain name and hosting for a website idea I had last year. Up until now, I've not had much time to focus on it and now I'm finally getting around to it.
Money is tight and I'm looking for your opinions and recommendations on:
- free website building software
- best e commerce provider to use
In a nutshell, I'd like to make a website where I can sell things and customer can pay through paypal (and maybe through debit/credit cards eventually). I am a complete newbie to website building but I'm willing to put in the time to do it myself as I can't afford for someone else to do it for me!
Any advice on free software I can use would be great.
Thanks everyone!

and use Moonfruit Light. It's £4 a month and It's all you will need for a small start up business. It's an easy to use, drag and drop system that lets you create a totally personalised website with no messing around with code or bad design templates. It has built in facilities for Paypal and for creating sales sections on your website.
Heres one I did earlier.

*god I sound Like a rep.... lemmi think of some cons... lol*
It can be over whelming as there is a lot of apps and services that can be added to your account and it will take a little time to find your way around it.
It's also Flash based so too much clutter means it may be slower to load on a bad connection, but over all.. it's a great little set of tools.£8/£96 for ToughMudder fee.0 -
i always recommend to new bloggers who want to learn about making money from the net is to use Squidoo.com. Its a free site and have lots of tutorials , later you can move on to buying your own domain. if you have already bought then its ok link it with your squidoo site.:j:j:j0
