Sadly some people are deluded in thinking they get very far with this pursuing Tescos. It wasnt even worth a punt. I didnt even bother when I knew I could it was such a obvious mistake given price difference and description was incorrect ie telescope partial description

    This is my favourite though,

"I think a corporate machine the size of Tesco should honour mistakes like this one as a good will gesture seeing as it is a mere drop in the ocean against nearly £2billion pre tax profit for the 6 months to August '11"
  • One thing to say to you

    Get A GRIP

Feel free to waste your time chasing them for 'loss of a bargain' or not honoring a miss price.

Try trading standards, watchdog, small claims if you like.
i'm not fussed and and definitely am not bothered enough to take action further, however I wont hesitate in trying by signing a quick petition that takes less than 10 seconds, what's the harm in trying? If the petition was successful in persuading M&S to honour 3D televisions for a fifth of the price I don't see any harm in trying to persuade Tesco to honour this?

They can think what they like with it, wont make Tesco budge one bit. They are on a no winner only thing they loose is there time an d possible money pursuing it in court

I guess they either stupid, deluded or just sounding off.

I bet next some of them will be saying, I aint shopping in Tescos any more.

One of them says "I won't my iPads that I rightfully purchased and paid for. "

They didnt pay for them, money only gets reserved if you pay by card

Yeah that will be next. Do these people not realise that they are loosing market share not gaining anymore. Also if they were to honour all these sales think about the losses that they would make.

    That's worrying too.

:rotfl::rotfl: "we have entered a contract to buy the goods, tesco have accepted by confirming proof of purchase" :rotfl::rotfl: I think they need to read invitation to treat
  • I ordered one and my confirmation email says it'll be dispatched within 3days and that my email is proof of purchase, what are my rights?

I had to hunt through my posts to find this, but it's still funny (last posted in 2008!!)

    Worth reprinting:

"Courtesy of hotdealsuk, what will happen over the next 24/48 hours

    Shengis:
    Misprice found
    Misprice posted
    People pile in
    Misprice closes
People say that they hope the one they ordered arrives
People say that they hope the fifty they ordered to resell on ebay will arrive
People get cross that someone ordered 50, and they didn't think of it/ get chance to order 50
    People get confirmations
Some call the company to see if they'll send them at this price
They get shouted at for calling the company
    People cross fingers
    Some get cancelled
    Most get cancelled
    Everyone picks apart the T&C
    People talk about legal action
    rest get cancelled
People get refunds about a week after promised
    People talk about legal action
People (like me) come and mock
Everyone gets defensive and say that it's different this time, as they've broken the law/T&C/customer trust"
