Credit Check & Recruitment - Pension company

Quick question, I have an interview coming up for a pension company. They don't offer any other financial products other than a workplace pension scheme.

How likely is it that they will credit check me as part of the recruitment process? I know this is standard practice in banking etc, but as for pensions, not too sure!

It is common practice with insurers and life & pensions providers as well as banks but isnt universal, particularly with intermediaries and some more specialist organisations
  • I was credit checked when offered a role at a pensions firm so I'd say yes they will
