How long on JSA before you are eligible for work programme?

At what point are you pushed to go on these work programes I keep hearing about? I will be honest from the stories I hear, the thought of it fills me with dread.

I believe it's 12 months, then you are transferred to a WP provider, I go to a provider in the next two weeks, looking forward to it as maybe i can finally get a FLT licence sorted out.

I think they're planning to put all those who don't gain employment onto the Community Action Programme, which they are currently trialling, where you work on "community projects" for 40 hours a week for six months. Then probably back to the Work Programme.
