Repossession court case

Despite paying back the extra amount asked for by Barclays they insist on taking me to court. They do not respond to my letters. Has anyone experience of these hearings? Is the house taken from you there and then or do you have further means of redress? Thanks

I would be surprised if Barclays are handling this themselves, at least a separate department.

Have you called them up and tried to speak with them?

Typically they are not keen to go to court either, usually is as a last resort..

If I recall your previous post, you have paid an awful lot back to them too...

Contact Shelter or CAB on this one. They can provide practical support that may help you keep your property.

More detail needed over how this position hasbeen reached.

And also on how you plan to get the mortgage paid off in the long term. If you cannot do this, then there may be no point in fighting on.
