Free Tomtom Go 510/710/910 Replacement Car Dock

Hi All,

For those of you who have a problem with your TOMTOM GO drooping whilst driving......TOMTOM are replacing all docks for free.....simply enter the serial number on their website at https://www.tomtom.com/newdock/ and they send you a "UPGRADED" replacement FREE OF CHARGE. If your serial number comes up as invalid format, simply send an email via the Contact Us link and they'll send one out......

I don't know if this has been posted before, or if it's in the wrong place.......(I did search but nothing came up)....I'm sure moderators will kindly remove/delete if necessary.....

I haven't noticed a problem with mine yet but after inputting the serial number, i qualifiy for a new one so it's on its way.

Hmm very intresting. Me not noticed a problem either but if kits free who cares. Have entered details and it took my details down so should be getting one soon.

Wonder if it works twice if using different addresses ir is the serial unique to each tomtom?

I have input the V number above the barcode and it says that it is an invalid code. Am I putting the correcy number in?

I have the same problem? I would have thought if my TomTom 510 wasn't eligible I'd have been told that rather than 'invalid format'. Any ideas?

Have you entered the number correctly? There is a | character in the middle mine that looks like a 1.

these new docks have been around for months.

my number would not work either, seems the ones that some people bought from PCworld would come up invalid

i gave them a ring, they sent me one out.
i have the number here somewhere, ill look for it and post it on here.

we have 3 GO 910's and all three were bought from PC world, all of their serial numbers come up as "invalid format". I emailed TOMTOM directly an explained my problem, they sent me one out the same day and supplied me with a UPS tracking number.......my original cradle was very bad it started drooping on the second time I was on the road......the new ones are much sturdier and have an extra "lip" to prevent the device disconnecting over bumps...!!!

My devices have the serial numbers below the barcode and some other code above......try the one underneath if there is one......

how do you get that character in? i've tried copying and pasting what i think it is (i've even copied yours from your post) but no luck at all - did you manage to get your code in okay?

the serial number is made up of only letters and numbers.....no special characters....my serial number starts with V77....I emailed this to TOMTOM...they already sent mine out.....
