Cathedral City Cheese 350g extra mature SEL £3.99 going through at £1

just got back from swansea marina store, scanning £1 picked up a nice load for myself but the shelf is absolutly rammed full of it with the SEL £4.28. Also if anyone is in this store there are quality street purple bars in the food to go aisle for 1p HTH.

Just to let the people from Lincoln know not to bother going to get some cheese from Tesco as I went earlier today and cleared the shelf. 21 packs @ £1 = happy days + cheese fetish

Wow! 21 packs of cheese! Now wonder you are broke. Hope you have tried it before because it's very strong and not to everyone's liking. Thanks OP, I got 4 packs. That is more than enough for our family and should last us a while, plus I believe in leaving some for other people. :money:

agree we had it when it was buy 1 get 2 free. we could not eat it to strong and an odd taste afterwards. we could not even use it in sauce. however everyone has diffrent tastes but maybe grate it with something milder.

Pboro Xtra dont tend to have any of the glitches anymore so i expect the forum is being monitored - not surprising when you overhear what i did at lunchtime in there - customer walks up to lady in customer services and asks "whether they could check if they had any of the Cathedral City Cheese that is going through for £1 as there is none in the fridge and the lady in that area wouldnt check for her!!" Holy moly talk about hand it to them on a plate!!

Ditto, we had it when it was buy 1 get 2 free and so did my mom and sister. Neither of them liked it though, so we ended up with the lot! Very, very strong cheese and it does have a peculiar aftertaste.
