Lots left in Tesco Extra in Whitstable. Priced up at £4.28 but scans at £1.

Thought I should mention that I tried two Tescos in suffolk unsuccessfully yesterday in case it helps anyone:

Tesco Metro in Kesgrave had the SEL as £1 but the shelf was stripped bare of stock.

Tesco Extra in Martlesham had the cheese marked up full price but the shelf was empty.

Thought this was fixed in my local the sel was £3.99 bogof I didnt try it as no scanner to check and with it having bogof I presumed it wasnt a £1 wish id checked now

Hi , are you sure it was the extra mature you were looking at?

the standard mature and light mature are both on BOGOF, @ £3.99,

The sel in my express and metro were £1 and 1.04 for the extra mature

The copdock one had them yest and my dad went in this morn and got 5

I tried a few stores today as I happened to be passing 4 different ones! All had the £1 SEL, but only one had any left, so I bought 7 as we get through loadssss of cheese in this house. Will grate some into freezer bags and freeze as that's dead handy for taking a handful out for sauces/to go on top of pasta bakes etc.
Was tempted to pop into the nearby Expresses as I was out and about with a day travel ticket on the bus so no extra expense, but my toddler didn't seem as keen on that idea funnily enough!
